Thank you so much, I think sometimes I worry that I'm sending something out into the world that's not really saying much, no big messages, light on controversy but also, that's where I am at the moment. After years of big stuff I quite like having smaller stuff to write about.

I did! I did a small lake paddle/swim a few weeks ago but was really looking forward to the sea and sauna combo! Thank you for the support 😊

Thank you Harriet. I just watched The Salt Path, and read an interview with the producer about how to characterise on screen the deeper internal changes going on, without heading into voiceovers. I decided a few weeks ago that the last push on my book is something that I want to do, but I don’t want to carry on doing it like I have been!

I am choosing to focus on joy and self-care alongside the writing rather than putting it all off until this mammoth overwhelming task is done - and that feels like a big internal shift for me. So I have loved the way you express the way this works: when it doesn’t look much different on the outside but feels so so different on the inside!

Thank you so much for reminding me to go and see The Salt Path, I’m seeing it on Monday now 😊 and I love how you’re tackling this final phase of the book. Joy and self care sounds like a brilliant approach. Good luck! Hx

Yes, choices and changes can be wonderful and reinvigoating even if they are small. Maybe especially when they are small.
